A Bit About Me...
I originally trained as a Primary School Teacher, and have been teaching for over 20 years. My love for fitness came later on in life. During my 20s I was always guilty of joining the gym, signing up for the latest fitness fads, buying celebrity exercise DVDs and never sticking at any of them for more than a few weeks. However in my 30s (and after becoming a mum), I became well and truly hooked to exercising. I realised how much better I felt, mentally and physically, when I exercised regularly.
I have made it my mission to pass on my enthusiasm for exercising to other people like myself! I believe fitness classes should be enjoyable and improve your overall health and well-being. I try to ensure my clients feel happy, relaxed and learn how to exercise safely and appropriately for their current fitness level. I have taught numerous PE lessons and After School Sports Clubs over the years; but what I have particularly enjoyed recently is running classes for adults (of all ages ranging from 16 to 80 years old!) and watching their confidence, fitness and friendships grow.
I also love helping to care for my brother, who has Downs Syndrome and Autism. He inspired me to gain my qualification in 'Programming and Supervising exercise for people with disabilities'.
I believe continual professional development is very important. Therefore since qualifying, I have continued to attend courses and participate in some local Pilates classes regularly.
When I’m not working or studying, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I can often be found doing Pilates; walking/jogging and chatting along our beautiful coastal paths with friends; running alongside my daughter on a horse or watching my son play rugby (as long as it is not too cold or wet!!).

1-2-1 PILATES TUITION
This would be ideal if you feel you need some individual guidance/support before attempting a class session. This would be advisable if you know that you will need some modifications/adaptations during the session.
Pay in advance (£20-30 per hour)
SMALL GROUP SESSIONS
If you find exercise classes too daunting or you have specific/additional needs... you, your friends, family &/or carers could have your own small Circuits, Running or Pilates Class until you feel ready to join a class nearby.
We can do the sessions in your own home/garden/garage or I can arrange a venue to hire.
Pay in advance & non-refundable £20-£50 for whole group (not per person).
NB. The venue must be within a 10 mile radius of Mullion, Cornwall.
MULTIPLE SESSION OFFERS
- One Circuits Class + one Pilates Class in the same week…£8 (£1 discount)
- Two Pilates Classes in the same week…£9 (£1 discount)
- Two Pilates Classes + one Circuits Class in the same week…£11 (£3 discount)
- Booking is essential.
- Please aim to arrive 5 minutes before the class begins.
- You will need to fill out a form (Health Questionnaire) before you take part.
- When you arrive at the class, please sign the register and pop your money in the pot.
- Please let me know in advance if you can’t make a particular session.
- During each class, I will demonstrate how to do each exercise and give alternative exercises, plus easier/harder variations. So you can choose which would be best for you.
- Please make me aware of any aches or pains you have been experiencing before you start the class, or if you find any exercises particularly tricky or uncomfortable.
- I hope you will find the sessions really friendly and encouraging, where we can all work at our own pace and level.
**Carers/Support workers do not pay when supporting their client during a session**
